Conrad passed away April 19th 2018 after a long bout with cancer. He continued to design throughout his challenge and has left behind a true legacy that is defined by his love for California and its style, climate and point of view. He was a powerful influence and spiritual inspiration on all whose lives he touched, friends, clients and colleagues. We all loved him dearly and will miss him.

Conrad was passionately devoted to his family and his work, he never gave up the fight and was actively involved in the design process until the week before he passed.  His deepest wish was for Conrad Asturi to carry on in the spirit of his body of work, to keep evolving to capture that indefinable essence that is California style. Edan and the Conrad Asturi team are energized by his wish for them to carry on his rich design legacy. Conrad will be best remembered for his easy laugh, loving nature and his dedication and enthusiasm for his work.

Conrad is survived by his wife, Jennifer Sanchez; son, Corbin Sanchez, and daughter, Kelli Sanchez. Also, surviving Conrad are his parents, Harvey and Lori Sanchez, and brother, Todd Sanchez (Monica).

A scholarship fund has been set up in Conrad's memory, for students entering the architectural/design field. Checks should be made payable to Jennifer Kohl, fbo C.S.M.S.F (Conrad Sanchez Memorial Scholarship Fund), and sent to Jennifer Kohl, 1116 Wyatt Ave., Napa, CA 94559.
